Your hubHub Your law firm's own client portal, with its branding, its team and all of its cases in one place. is ready the moment you create it. But a client's first visit sets their expectations for the whole case, so a little setup in the first week goes a long way.

The five

  1. Your firm's details. The name and contact details clients see. See Update your firm details.
  2. Your logo and colors. So the portal looks like your firm, not a generic tool. See Add your logo and brand colors.
  3. Online payments. Connect Stripe before you send the first invoice, so clients can pay from their phone. See Connect Stripe to collect invoice payments.
  4. A check-in for quiet cases. Replace the starter message with one in your firm's voice. See Check in on quiet cases automatically.
  5. A test case. Open one with a colleague as the client, and walk through what they'll see. See Understand what your clients see.

After the first week

Once these are in place, the rest is habit: post an update when a case moves, and let the check-in cover the quiet stretches between.
